Mugabe wants to sell Diamond Mine
Tuesday, July 13th, 2010Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe declared, approved or not by the World Diamond Supervisory Agency, the country will still be selling the world’s largest diamond reserves are located in the east of the country.
Tuesday (13/07/2010), Mugabe has contacted the parties making rules about the sale of diamonds that the diamonds reserves will boost the country’s economy is now ruined.
According to Mugabe, the country is a major supplier of diamonds in the world or about a quarter of world supply, discovered in 2006.
To note, the World Diamond Supervisory Board does not permit selling Zimbabwe’s largest diamond mine fields. This is related to the alleged mass killings, human rights abuses and violence, and corruption.
In fact, areas of southern Africa, including Zimbabwe, are known to be rich in reserves of diamonds and other natural resources.
